These traps simply provide interesting contraptions to experiment on. Using some Malicious and fatal traps in Multiplayer Can get you kicked from servers. If the trap is meant to kill and not to protect, then make sure you inform admins of your intentions before you make anything.

Introduction

The true nature of traps in GMod is that they must be sprung without you or someone else to activate it on the person who is going to be trapped. The most fun traps are the ones that are activated by the victim, such as pressing a button when it tells you not to, then you die by trap. Remember use the color tool to use make most of the important part of these traps invisible.




Rocket-powered Sofa Trap

Construction

  1. Spawn a red sofa and position against the wall,
  2. Add 2 thrusters with the following configuration and make the thrusters invisible, if you are unsure how to do this click here
  3. Attach a slider with width set to 0.00 at the point shown on image "Step 4", remember to right click so it goes to the area opposite.
  4. Add a button to the area opposite, make the button trigger keypad button "." and set the description as "Kill Everyone"
  5. Unfreeze everything and press the button.
  6. Enjoy :D

Construction

  1. Spawn a prop about as high as a barrel. Or you can just use a barrel.
  2. Spawn anything that resembles a long pole or beam.
  3. Axis the center of your long pole/beam to the center of your barrel/high-as-a-barrel-prop.
  4. Attach a thruster with a force of 10,000 to the edge of the long pole/beam. Make sure the toggle is ON.
  5. Now activate the thruster.
  6. Make everything invisible.
  7. Duplicate your invisible spinner (might take some work)

And now, wherever you click, there'll be a spinning blade thing. Laugh as people cluelessly run into it.



Smasher Trap

Construction

  1. Spawn a flat prop that is not too heavy.
  2. Use the PhysGun to move the prop into the air and freeze it a little bit past the wall.
  3. You can now place a hydraulic constraint with 0 width (makes it invisible) from the prop to the almost never ending sky that is bound to key "0". (I used about 100 extra length for this trap). If you look all the way down place one end then look straight up it will be perfectly straight.
  4. Now put a button with the same number ("0") underneath the the prop, and put something like "Please don't press this". Someone will try to be a jerk and get their butt kicked.
  5. Try it out! Or get someone else to...

Dynamite Trap

Construction

  1. Place a dynamite with the highest power, bind it to a number and no fuse or fuse add into a corner.
  2. Place a barrel over the top of the dynamite so it's concealed.
  3. Place a button with the same number as in number step 2 near the dynamite.

You can also color invisible the dynamite to be less suspect.

Dropped container trap

Construction

  1. Spawn a prop that will hold up the dumpster.
  2. Easyweld it to the wall above the doorway.
  3. Spawn a couple of breakable wooden planks.
  4. Board up the door so that you cant get through and there is one main board that can block the whole thing using the easy weld tool.
  5. Spawn a dumpster, place it near the prop that will hold it up and create a pulley from the dumpster to the prop holding it then to the main plank of wood.
  6. Wait for a minge to decide to destroy your wooden planks! And TRAP!

Flipper

Construction

First, make two long blast doors. Place one with it's tip against a wall, and then place the tip of the second so it is touching the free tip of the first door, so it is square-ish then weld it together, unfreeze it and place it against a wall, then duplicate it on top of each other (as needed) just right to quickly complete the bulk of the contraption (see Picture 1 for what it should look like), then spawn another and let it fall flat, push it against a wall to get it straight and angled right - the long end should be flat against the wall. Now pick it up, noclip up to the top and freeze it on the way it is shown in Picture 2. Create an Adv Ballsocket between them with the default settings. Spawn a razor blade, and flatten it against the bottom of the door you just placed, freeze it, use Keep Upright on the flipper part with the blade under, place five maximum power thrusters on the tip (Picture 3) and you're done!

Bad vending machine

This trap is easily constructed and has multiple variants, both with and without the Turret tool-mode.

Construction

  1. Spawn a Vending machine
  2. Add an instance of a button keyed to whichever key you intend to use to trigger the trap. Its title can be anything you like.
  3. To create a crushing trap, add max-power thrusters to the top of the back, keyed to the same key as your button on the front is. Ideally, it will tip over and crush the user when triggered.
  4. For a turret trap, noclip a turret into the vending machine aiming toward where the user will be when it is triggered. Set the delay low and the damage high.

This trap is intended to be used outside any fort doors.

Construction

  1. Create a button with a message related to opening the door. Bind it to an unused key.
  2. Create some turrets pointing towards where the button-pusher will be. Bind them to the unused key.
  3. Finally, make the turrets invisible.
  4. If you wish, you can use a camera so you can watch the enemy kill themselves.

Construction

Create a long object and leave it there. Then spawn a wheel (tractor wheel) and easy weld the object to it. Place this at a spawn area. (duplicate to cover entire area. Turn them on. watch as people constantly die and respawn. Jump in and join the fun! ^^

(Note: This is an incredibly "mingebag" trick. Only use this if others know about it or you will probably get kicked or banned.)

Construction

  1. First spawn a explosive barrel from the spawn menu.
  2. Grab it with the gravity gun, and chuck it straight up.
  3. Before it hits the ground, switch to the Physgun and catch it.
  4. Bring it down and freeze it a few feet in the air.
  5. Easy weld the barrel to the ground in an area that you think is a nice choke point.
  6. Paint the barrel invisible, make sure you remember where it is so you don't set it off yourself!
  7. Sooner or later someone will walk into the barrel and, Boom!, instant death.

Watermelon Trap

Construction

This is what you will be building.

To build this trap, you'll need a pile of melons, a dumpster and a black canister.

Place the canister where you would like to set up the trap, then freeze it. You have two choices now. You can either use a winch or a thruster. I'm gonna do it the classic way and use a winch. You want the canister to fly out from underneath the dumpster quickly, so if you're using a winch, make sure the decrease length speed is turned up, and if you're using a thruster, turn the power up.

Make sure the canister is froze, then get your dumpster and turn it upside down.

Slowly lower one of the edges of the dumpster onto the canister. The back end of the dumpster should start to drop to the floor. When it's balanced, freeze it.

Now place your watermelons under the trap and unfreeze the dumpster and canister. They should move a little but shouldn't fall over.

Now set up an RT camera, place the display on your HUD, find somewhere secluded and wait for your first dumbass. When one comes, all you need to do is activate your thruster or decrease the length of the winch and you've caught your first n00b.

You could also go to materials on the menu, select volume light and shoot the dumpster to see your n00b either saying lol in chat, putting thrusters on the dumpster to get out or shooting your melons. Sometimes using volume light will trick him/her into thinking you've moved the dumpster.

Finally, as an idea for the next time you make this trap, you could use volume light on everything except the watermelons.

Unforgiving Soda Machine

Construction

  1. Spawn a Soda machine and a soda machine door.
  2. Place then weld soda machine to a wall.
  3. Either use Easy Ballsocket or reg ball and socket to place the soda machine door in front of the soda machine. (only socket the bottoms together)
  4. Pull Soda machine door back and place max set thrusters to it.
  5. Place a button right where the soda buttons are and set the button to the thrusters so when pressed it activates thrusters.
  6. Make the soda machine door invisible.
  7. Watch and enjoy.

Zombie Trap

Construction

  1. First you need to have a base with at LEAST two floors. This trap is only for specific types of bases, ones with editable floors and some space to spare.
  2. Create a hole in your floor and make sure a CLOSED room is below it. NOTE IT HAS TO BE CLOSED
  3. Create a small sliding opening using a winch or a muscle, and assign the movement to a key
  4. Create a button so that when you press the button you are standing on the trapdoor. Make a meaningful message such as "Press this to enable god mode"
  5. Populate the room below with zombies. Normal ones are fine but remember Poison ones combined with fast ones will make for a quicker and more likely kill.
  6. Do a quick test using a stupid person
  7. This will probably slowdown a multiplayer server, so is recommended with LAN games only.



Space barrel

Construction

  1. Spawn the blue oxygen tank anywhere on the map facing upright.
  2. Attach a hydraulics rope to the top of the barrel.
  3. Press the numpad control key so it tries to go into the ground.(this makes it shake and cause people to want to touch it for some reason)
  4. touch the barrel.(it may just hurt you 10%, but if you get it right, it is able to kill anything in an instant, sending them flying from the location.)

  1. Spawn a fast zombie, then turn off AI
  2. Open the colour tool and decrease the alpha all the way to zero and apply, making the zombie invisible.
  3. Turn the AI back on and beware! Invisible Zombie on the loose!



Meat Wheel

Construction

  1. Spawn a carousel with a very high friction, put it in a wide open space.
  2. Spawn a few or a lot of ragdolls. For extra effects make them bloody with paint.
  3. Weld or rope them to the carousel so that they have a lot of room and are off the ground.
  4. When someone comes to "investigate" start the wheel and watch as the corpses spin with it and crush the person.

Don't put in too many ragdolls or it will jam, my best configuration was 4 fast zombies 4 normal and 2 poison. Feel free to experiment.

Construction

  1. Spawn a soda machine and lock it up against the wall.
  2. Spawn and lock a dynamite right in front of the soda machine.
  3. Using the color tool, turn the alpha off on the dynamite, making it invisible.
  4. Place a button on the soda machine that will emulate the dynamite's key and have it say, "DO NOT PRESS!!!".
  5. Hide.
  6. Watch your hapless victims blow themselves up!

Construction

  1. Spawn a blast door and colour it black.
  2. Weld the door to a wall and cover it in spikes, saw blades, guns, etc. Lots of horrible things.
  3. Spawn a vending machine and turn it into a prop spawner with a 3 second delay. Make it invisible and position directly above the blast door.
  4. Bind the prop spawner to a key and create a button for that key. Put the button in the middle of the spiky door with an amusing message.
  5. If your prey is stupid enough to press the button, the last thing they expect is a vending machine to the face! Nearly EVERYONE will look up at the LAST moment to see the vending machine come out of nowhere. Priceless.



Zombie Cage

Construction

  1. Spawn a fence, wide, with concrete footholds, and freeze it.
  2. Create three more, to form a caged-in area, making sure all fences are frozen.
  3. Take props and make them into a set of stairs, making sure all props are frozen. Create a skinny prop (such as a harpoon or a signpost) and put a button on it. Set the description to "Press this to get godmode by walking in the cage".
  4. Before you invite people to die, get in the cage, place a Zombie or two, and make them invisible by taking the color tool, taking alpha and putting it to 0.
  5. Enjoy! The Zombie can also trick some NPCs.

Construction

  1. Make a Turret with no collision, bullet damage max, no sounds, default tracer, delay 0.1 or whatever (make it small), bullets per shot can be whatever, max fore if you want to send someone 50 feet into the air... and make it invisible. Assign the . to trigger.

Point it up here your victim

  1. Make a Spawner that will create bombs (In the Phoenix Pack add-on)or anything else that is explosive. Make it Invisible, relatively low, or on the ground if there is no collision for it. Assign . to trigger.
  2. Make a button with what ever you want it to say E.G. Press to nuke, God mode on, Don't Press ,etc. Assign it to the . key.
  3. Watch and wait for a dumb ass to kill himself or try it out.
  4. You can make it more amusing if you if you have this in a base and setup a trapdoor above it dropping zombies or other stuff in after. Or you cam make another spawner.

Requirements

Construction

  1. Create a button (Toggle OFF, assigned fullstop '.') and freeze it in the air in front of you.
  2. Create a turret and freeze it under the button (no spread, 10 shots, 0 reload, 10000 damage, anything else whatever you want).
  3. Create the small square like object underneath the button and turret.
  4. Weld all 3 together (if you have smart weld, use that instead).
  5. Unfreeze all (If you haven't already with Smart Welder).
  6. Make the small square like object and turret invisible with the Colour Tool.
  7. If you have Adv. Duplicator then follow these steps, if not skip to the last step.
  8. Save the trap in Advc. Duplicator as whatever the hell you want (preferably simple like Cutting Device or n00b button trap).
  9. Join an online game.
  10. Spawn the Cutting Device.
  11. do what you normally do and enjoy seeing your name appear at the top right corner of the screen upon random deaths.



Invisible Box

Requirements

Construction

  1. Place the dumpster or 4 blast doors to form a box, with the opening at the bottom, low enough for someone to walk under. Weld them together if they are the doors, then to the ground.
  1. Place the blast door on the ground directly under the box, kind of like a lid, use hydraulics to attach it to the ground. (optional: attach a camera on this piece, facing upward to watch the explosion.)
  1. Place two buttons on the trap, one on the bottom, saying something that gullible noobs would fall for, assigned to a key that would send it upward enough to hit the rest of the trap. (optional: make it no collision with the rest of the trap, and make the other part attached to ground with hydraulics, assigned to the same key to bring it down, crushing the victim [also known as "The Jaw"]) (more options: make the button say something like press to fire turrets, and add turrets in a ring around the door, but not assigned to a button, don't make these invisible later on.)
  1. Place a wheel at the top of the trap, inside the box, attach the blade to it and assign the spinning of the wheel to a random unassigned key, place a barrel within range of the spinning blade, (optional: place more barrels for more explosive fun) now place a button on the wall of the trap, inside the box, assigned to the same key as the spinning blade, saying something like press to escape (it would be true because they die).
  1. Make everything except the buttons and optional turrets invisible, and watch as the stupid victim is blown straight to hell.



Desk Trap

Requirements

Construction

  1. Spawn a metal desk and Weld it to the ground or a wall.
  2. Place some Dynamite under the desk.
  3. Use the Colour tool to make the Dynamite transparent.
  4. Place a button on the desk. If you want, label it with something a mingebag would find appealing - like 'FREE AWP'.
  5. (optional) Position a camera above the desk, set the look key to '0'. Using the Colour tool, make it transparent.
  6. Wait. Someone will (hopefully) come along, press the button, and blow themself up!

Container Trap

  1. Spawn your Shipping Crate and use the PhysGun to freeze it high in the air. Go into noclip if need be. Make sure the drop is high enough to kill.
  2. Turn the crate into a Prop Spawner, no delays, bound to key zero.
  3. Make the crate invisible.
  4. Create a button, bound to zero as well. Give it the description of something like 'nuke everyone', or something a mingebag would love.
  5. Done! Now just wait for the crushing to begin!

Mouse Trap

Page white text.png Description:Well, it's a mouse trap, what else ?. Ok, this is a proximity triggered trap, it means that your victim doesn't need to push a button or destroy something to trigger the trap, just come near it. It's a bit tricky, and has to be "reloaded" each time it's triggered, but it's very effective and fun anyway. You only need PHX models.

Requirements

Construction

  1. Spawn a 2x4 PHX wooden panel, and a 2x2 PHX metal wire. Freeze the wooden panel
  2. Use the Easy Ball socket to constraint the 2 points shown on the "Step 2" image. Do the same for the other side.
  3. Now, put the metal frame in the position show on the "Step 3" image, spawn a jar (or any prop that is about the same size, it's not important), and easy weld it on the wooden panel, as shown on the image.
  4. Take the elastic tool, set the Constant to 10000, and put the elastic between the metal frame and the wooden part (look at "Step 4").
  5. Now that the trap is ready, let's load it! Grab the metal frame, and stretch the elastic, then freeze the metal frame.
  6. Take the physgun and kill yourself (type "kill" in the console, or spawn a dynamite, take the physgun, and trigger the dynamite). You'll drop your physgun. You can use the Duplicator so you don't have to kill yourself again when reloading the trap.
  7. Easy weld the physgun to the center of the trap. (Stay away from the physgun, or you will collect it, and it will disappear)
  8. Take the Pulley constraint, shoot the physgun, then shoot the jar twice, and finally, shoot the metal frame.
  9. Unfreeze the metal frame, and wait ! :D
  10. Return to Step 5 to reload.

How it works ? Very simple. The physgun you have welded on the trap is a collectable item (since you have dropped it while dying), and prevents the trap from activating. As soon as someone comes near it, it will be automatically collected and deleted, and then...

Blinding Trap

Requirements

Construction

  1. Spawn some large and flat prop (a fence will do nicely), apply the flat white material to it, and make it completely black. Put it somewhere far away from the place where you want to set up the trap, so it doesn't look suspicious.
  2. Face the prop, come close to it, spawn a camera, and bind it to the * key, for example. Make sure that you see only blackness when you switch to the camera view.
  3. Spawn a breakable prop (a wooden crate, for example).
  4. Attach a button (using the same key as the camera) to the crate.
  5. Spawn a dynamite (still using the same key as the camera and the button), no-collide it with the crate, and hide it inside of the crate, then weld it to the crate. (you can make the dynamite invisible if you want)
  6. Attach some attractive decoration the the crate, lights, wheels, thrusters and stuff. It doesn't matter.
  7. And wait. :P

Well, why is it so cruel ? It's quite simple. This trap has two effects:

Turret Trap

Requirements

Construction

  1. Place your clock on a wall. Don't bother with the torque or anything like that.
  2. Spawn a turret in the centre of the clock. Bind it to the zero key. Stick everything except the delay up as far as they will go.
  3. Make the turret invisible.
  4. Create a button, bound to zero as well. Give it a description of something time-related, like 'press me to display the time'.
  5. Your intended victim (a mingebag preferably) will come along and see this, then they will (hopefully) press the button and be shot to hell.
  6. Done!

Door trap

Requirements

Construction

  1. Place a door and bind it to the zero key.
  2. Place a cannon behind the door and bind it to the zero key.
  3. Create a button, bound to zero as well.
  4. Watch as the victim opens the door and gets blown to bits! :D

Requirements

Construction

  1. Put the breakable prop somewhere on the map, preferably in an open field.
  2. Weld the breakable prop there.
  3. Get the explosive props and put them high above the prop. Freeze them there.
  4. Weld them to the breakable prop.
  5. Unfreeze everything.

If done right, breaking the breakable prop will cause the explosives to drop to the ground and explode on contact. You may want to paint these invisible, or else the players probably will think twice about breaking it.

Construction

  1. Wield the physgun. Then press your key for changing to gravity gun (mine is g).
  2. Spawn a Explosive Barrel.
  3. Grab the barrel with your gravity gun and shoot it in the air.
  4. Press g to change to physgun and grab the barrel before it hits the ground.
  5. Freeze the barrel in the air and open Advanced ball socket.
  6. Check "No-collide" and "Free movement". Click the barrel, then the ground.
  7. Grab the barrel, then put it in the ground with the top sticking out just a little bit. If it's completely underground, they won't hit it, and it won't explode.
  8. Go to color, and turn all the numbers on the right to zero, and the configuration to alpha. Apply to the barrel.
  9. Weld the barrel to the ground and you're done! Now all you have to do is wait for someone to step on it and die.

Construction

  1. Create a flat prop.
  2. Put a wheel, with the model the spinning trap from ravonholm.
  3. Colour it all invisible.
  4. Create a button, near the prop, so when it is pushed the axe goes into the pushers head.
  5. Enjoy :)

Construction

  1. Create any flat wheel style prop. I'll use the Sawblade
  2. Apply the Motor Tool to the center, velocity 4000, and put it against a wall.
  3. Two Options here: No collide it with a breakable crate and hide it, or invisible. Choose your way.
  4. Now choose the turret, same number as the Motor, max damage, change it to SMG or whatever you like, and apply eight turrets against the sawblade, in the corners and up, left, bottom, right.
  5. Apply a button, keypad, anything you like, and level it to the point where the turret will hit the one who presses it.
  6. Find a sucker, have them press and hold the button to 'Give them GodMode' and BLAM!
  7. Neat trap for Forts.

Construction

  1. Create a fort, or something that you can use a sliding door for.
  2. Create a small opening where a door can cover up.
  3. Use the door tool to cover it up.
  4. Make a Turret opposite of the door and make it the same key as the slider.
  5. Now go outside and put a button on, or next to, the door and make it the same key as the last two.
  6. Make the text 'Hold to open door for short amount of time.' or something.
  7. Now set up a camera or something and watch as suckers get blown away by your trap.

Construction

  1. Build a two floor fort. (I used yellow blocks from a builder's pack )
  2. Make the first floor inaccessible, this is where noclip comes in handy.
  3. Go inside and open your NPC tab and Disable AI, spawn zombies on the first floor.
  4. Now, make a small clearing wide enough for a person to fall from.
  5. Make a small platform that will reach up to the second floor of your fort, from the clearing.
  6. Make a door right there that would lead into your second floor.
  7. Put a button or a keypad next to it.
  8. This part's tricky, you should be over the small opening that you made on the ground floor, but on the platform. you want to make it so you can fall off the platform, on the inside, leading to the zombie floor. You're making a kind of U shape. Look down in the video if you're confused.
  9. Spawn a part to cover the empty space, and use the Axis tool on the corner and attach it so that it can fall down like a trap door.
  10. Spawn a cardboard box, not wooden, and stack it up without freezing or welding, right under the trap door.
  11. Now spawn a turret next to the cardboard boxes, and make that fire when Keypad 1 is pressed.
  12. Make sure the platform covering the trap isn't frozen and is resting on the cardboard boxes.
  13. Spawn a button right on, or above, the door on the platform, keypad 1. Any description you want.
  14. Make a walkway up to the second floor platform where the trap is, and that's it!

Construction

  1. Spawn any prop (a melon for instance), and freeze it wherever you want.
  2. Spawn a glass bottle (actually, any breakable prop should work), and freeze it as well.
  3. Weld your melon to the glass bottle.
  4. Unfreeze the melon.
  5. Break the bottle with the crowbar.

It's as simple as that. The melon should still stay frozen in the air, but as soon as you touch it, it should unfreeze and fall down. If you want to know how it works, it's pretty simple. Whenever a physics object isn't moving anymore, the Source engine puts it in an hibernation state, so it isn't computed anymore until it receives another external physics input (aka, it doesn't move until something touches it). Here, we are simply breaking the weld constraint in an unusual way, tricking the engine into thinking the melon should still stay in its hibernation state.

This opens a whole lot of possibilities for traps that are triggered without the need of buttons, use your imagination!

Construction

  1. Spawn 4 blast doors.
  2. Make 1 blast door close to another, freeze them, and add a hydraulics constraint to them.
  3. Make the length as far as you want.
  4. Do steps 2 through 3 with the other 2. (Make sure the hydraulics button is 1! The buttons need to match!)
  5. Make a button that mingebags will love, and make it match the hydraulic key.
  6. Stand back and make yourself a mingebag sandwich.

  1. first spawn a vending machine
  2. then,put a button set to any key on the vending machine that says 'FREE SODA' or 'FREE WATER' (note:do not make it do not press,or theyll understand :D)
  3. then,spawn a container.
  4. place it on top of the vending machine so it can fall without hitting the vending machine and giving a chance for the victim to escape.
  5. then,make the container a prop spawner NOTE:the prop spawner and the button should be the same key and the delay should be 0.
  6. make the prop spawner invisible.
  7. tell your freinds that there is free soda :P

Constrution

  1. Make a Wire Simple Explosive and check these boxes: Remove on Blast. Set damage to 1000 and radius 200.
  2. Make a Wire Target Finder and weld it to the top of the explosive. Set the range to 200 and make it target whatever you want to blow up.
  3. Wire the Simple Explosive's Detonate to the Target Finder's 1.
  4. Watch some noob run headfirst into the mine and die. You may make the mine invisible, or bury it into the ground. You can also make it "jump" and blow up in a minge's face.



Auto Drone

Constrution

  1. 1 Spawn a City Scanner form the NPC category
  2. 2 Disable AI so you can work, and freeze it in the air so it doesn't float away.
  3. 3 Weld a turret with your selected settings to the "eye" of the City Scanner.
  4. 4 Attach a Winch connecting the bottom of the Drone to the ground, this lets you control how far it can travel.
  5. 5 (Optional) Weld a Static Camera above the turret to act as an autonomous security camera.
  6. 6 (Also Optional) If you've downloaded the Laser Pack (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=46491) weld a laser to the "eye" instead of a turret.
  7. 7 Watch as Mingebags and NPCs alike run in fear!

Constrution

  1. Get the wheel tool. I recommend the APC wheel model.
  2. Place it on the ground next to the corner of a building, where it can have 270 degrees of rotation.
  3. get a dock pole, and weld it to the wheel.
  4. on the wall furthest away from the rotation, place a button emulating the same command as the wheel.
  5. get the colour tool, setting the alpha to 0. make the pole and wheel transparent.
  6. mount a camera behind the button, looking down, and lock it to a different key.
  7. hiding somewhere else,get the plasma screen prop from the cs_office, weld it to the wall, and select the material to be RTCAMERA.
  8. wait patiently, until someone comes up to push your button, and roll around laughing when they are squashed by an invisible something!

  1. Spawn a PHX 1 X 1 plate."
  2. Spawn an E2 chip, Simple wired explosive with settings maxed exept delay, I prefer the flat bomb, a ranger, and a button with ARM on it. like this:

Construction

  1. Spawn a large container, and another large container.
  2. Place them on top of eachother, facing the same direction.
  3. Use the ballsocket to weld the front corners of the containers together, so they open and close.
  4. Lift the container above the ground, and create a prop to act as a ramp, a metal plate will suffice.
  5. Weld said ramp to the bottem container, and no collide the ramp and BOTH containers.
  6. Test it, if the container successfully closes, you're doing it right.
  7. Spawn a breakable wooden box and some dynamite next to it with max power, set it to 0.
  8. Make sure the Container is "open", then freeze it and weld it to the wooden box, unfreeze it.
  9. Create a button in the container set to 0.
  10. Spawn several barrels (not explosive) and place them under the container, don't freeze them, but no collide them with the container.
  11. Add hoverballs to each barrel with very low power, that so the barrels rise SLOWLY, set them to 0.
  12. Use the ignite tool on each barrel.


THE RESULT

- The victim walks up the ramp, into the container, and presses the button. The dynamite explodes and destroys the crate. The weld brakes and the container closes, trapping the victim. The victim sees flaming barrels rise into the container, and he burns.

This MAY not work, you may need to tweak it a little. I may update this after proper testing and add in some pics... if I can be bothered ^^.

The Dynamite Protection (MAY NEED ADMIN PRIVILEGES) If your Jeep gets stolen or taken by somebody, and freezing your car doesn't work, try placing dynamite around your car, and making the dynamite invisible, then hide someplace where the burglar can't see you, but you can see the burglar. When the burglar comes around, deploy the dynamite. Killing him instantly, that darn burglar should never come around your stuff again.

WireMod Security Panel (NEEDS WIREMOD) (MAY NEED ADMIN PRIVILEGES) If that burglar steals stuff in your house in DarkRP, WireMod a security panel, connecting to your door, making it lock or unlock. If that burglar puts in the wrong code, you can set up a Law Penalty, including taking his Phys Gun away.

Death Trap If dat burglar tries to steal your car again, try welding a platform using doors from the HL2 Eli's Lab chapter, placing hoverballs on the corners, hiding the hoverballs and then placing the platform on the ground, then placing the car on the platform. When the burglar comes on the platform, hoverball the platform up, then release the hoverball button, making him fall and get big fall damage, telling him to never touch your stuff again.

That Damn Turret Trap (MAY NEED ADMIN PRIVILEGES) Spawn 2 NPC Turrets, freeze them at the entrance of your house, and then make them invisible using the Fade Fast effect.

  1. TO TURN THE TURRETS ON AND OFF - Use the "Ignore Players" checkbox in the NPC Menu to turn the Turrets on and off.

HAXXXXXXXX When that burglar comes along, gravity gun a computer monitor at their head. (NOTE - This also works with a Sawblade)
