I've done a cleanup of hosts. This list is now up to date! --DaxterFellowes 09:17, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

I made a boo boo, sorry for those I wrongfully deleted. :(

Shouldn't the server hosts be in a table so they can be sorted by price per slot, name etc? --Bugster 00:55, 28 February 2009 (GMT-6)

If you'd like to do that, go ahead.--Unrealomega 02:09, 28 February 2009 (GMT-6)

Let me set the record straight.

This is not a list of server that are GOOD or BAD. This is a compiled list of SERVERS. If you have problems with the server, then we'll see how we can work this out. Do not remove servers from the list just because you've been wrong in the past. --Unrealomega 06:47, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)

Personally, this is turning into a big, giant, ball of goop. DaxterFellowes 07:13, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)

I would agree. Hmm. --Unrealomega 07:20, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)
Yeah, it's best to just leave it be. DaxterFellowes 07:28, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)
Was originally my intent, but I was hoping this wouldn't snowball into a Wiki full of opinions about servers. The page was only there to condense information. Either way, I agree that it was a terrible idea. --Unrealomega 07:34, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)
Unrelated, I went ahead and added you to Steam. DaxterFellowes 07:35, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)

Regardless hosts that rip off their customers show not be allowed on the list. SourceServers has never had a good reputation and is notorious of ripping off anyone who ever rents from them from FacePunch. I personally don't feel it would be a good idea to list them, however feel free to undo my edit if you are just going to edit it back.. Slayer3032 08:56, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6) Slayer3032

"Index of Gmod Server Hosts" is an index of Hosts that have been discovered and placed on this list. The point is not to put out, "These guys are bad, don't go to them". If you're really unsure about the creditability of a host, google the host's name to see what reviews have been put out.

I request that people stop removing host from the list unless the reason is something other than, "These guys have a bad service". If you have further issues with this judgment, please post here before making the edit, as it reduces the hassle of me or some other editor undoing it. Thank you. --Unrealomega 09:52, 26 April 2009 (GMT-6)

Clan Base Live

Why are there two of them on the list? --Unrealomega 02:56, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

GmodHosting.com LLC and ClanBaseLive initiated a merger last weekend so we're keeping GmodHosting on the list so people know it still us operating it. DaxterFellowes 00:30, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Table too wide for page

I think this page should use a template similar to the one for gamemodes (Template:Gamemode) instead of the table that it uses now so that the table does not spill over the page - LuaMilkshake (76561197984917080 01:30, 2 June 2011 (PDT))

Don't delete topic?

I think this topic is important to keep because there isn't any real place for users to discover potential hosting companies. It allows players to easily compare companies and allows fair and equal competition.

I don't think this page should be deleted.
