Modding DS

You can exract the mods directly to it's respectave folders and it works. --Q-tip 03:29, 12 December 2006 (GMT Standard Time)

Linux docs

I've added linux install documentation, even though there's as of now no Linux binaries.--Morpheous 22:57, 2 December 2006 (GMT Standard Time)

Edited the Linux one to be more factual and less bitter/one sided. --ubermensch

Ports

I've had this problem with my router but I figured out what the problem is: You need to open ports 27015 and 27020. I think port 27020 has something to do with steam itself

Team Fortress 2/Ep2

Why was this content removed? How does one update to install ep2 content? Daman 07:46, 12 January 2009 (GMT-6)

Bzip2 section

revision 21950 by F1r3starter stated that the bz2 files need to be on the gameserver as well as the downloadURL. From my experience this is untrue, but i could be wrong... Does anyone else know whether you do or not? I'm pretty sure you don't, but just making sure. -- stewsta 02:54, 7 March 2009

Portal Content Addition

Added a small addition, explaining what GCFs needed to be extracted in order to get Portal content working. Sp!ke 06:22, 12 April 2009 (GMT-6)

Some of us may be using windows 7 and have some trouble

on the very first part i have no "Run cmd" I thought it might be on command prompt but there is only one line.

On most Windows systems [Windows Key] + R is a shortcut to run.

Proper linux binaries on the way

I added a notice to the Linux section notifying people about the intent to create binaries + the beta link, but someone else will need to update it when they go official.

Thanks

Dedicated Server Help

It says the following:

Server.cfg (Required) - Has all the necessary commands in this file. Edit with notepad.

Download: server.cfg -> Here

Some one PLZ tell me where you put that after you have edited it in notepad!
